Normal stripping techniques on vehicles require sanders and grinders to remove paint from the surface. Such methods usually require two or more days to completely prepare, strip and clean. The non-destructive abrasive characteristic of soda blasting allows vehicles to be completely stripped in just a few hours.

Sodablast removes carbon, grease, oil, gasket material, surface corrosion and paint from a variety of alloys, plastics and composites without substrate damage or distortion and leaves hard, anodized coatings intact.

Our method reduces cycle time by cleaning, degreasing, all in one step. Unlike glass beads or plastic media, Sodablast requires no pre-wash and its water solubility allows for complete rinsing, eliminating the risk of ‘spent’ media lodging in tight places or critical passageways. Sodablast can be used in fleet maintenance for removing decals, logos, collision work and for cleaning construction equipment without having to dismantle any parts in order to preserve them.

Sodablast effectively removes paint down to the base material without damage to the metal, glass, plastic or aluminium trim on vehicles. Sodablast is ideal for cleaning all types of vehicles. The baking soda will not damage or infiltrate hydraulics or engine parts so heavy plant, fork lifts and similar vehicles require minimal preparation.

Sodablast saves hours of manual labor and will leave a better finish. It reduces ‘non production’ or ‘offline’ time significantly. It is non-toxic, biodegradable and has no effect on the health of operators or bystanders. In most cases, a rinse with water will completely remove all traces of the baking soda.
